C-BOND thick cyanoacrylate glue. 30 g / 1.05 oz bottle. Made in Canada by CEC Corp. 1200 - 1400 cps viscosity.
C-BOND thick is a high viscosity, general purpose instant/cyanoacrylate glue. This glue comes with an anti-clog cap and has a 15 to 30 second cure time. Provides outstanding adhesion for porous surfaces and large caps. Can be used with a CA accelerator to speed up curing time. C-BOND thick can bond rubber, plastics, metal and wood.
This glue is used to glue pen tubes into pen blanks. Because it is thick, it easily fills any gaps between your pen tube and the inside of your pen blank. If you don’t fill those gaps, these can weaken your pen blanks and cause a blow out when you are turning. Cover your pen tube generously with glue and insert it into the blank using a twisting motion – this spreads the glue around on the inside of the blank, ensuring good adhesion.
Tip: use baseplate wax to seal the ends of your tubes and keep glue out.
Please note: this product does have a shelf life of up to approximately one year. Store in the refrigerator if possible to help extend shelf life. We do not replace dried out bottles of glue.
